She wanted to know about Blue Streak
1. Blue Streak is Jewish, but he isn't super good at it. He tries, but he still eats pork.
2. Blue Streak's parents were both super heroes, but his powers are not hereditary.
3. He got his speed powers through the same accident that brought his nemesis, Admiral Fast, his powers.  (Admiral Fast is the proprietor of Admiral Fast's Fat Chicken, and was trying to create a way to fry chicken even faster.)
4. Blue Streak speaks highly of himself and outwardly expresses a level of egotism many consider obnoxious, but he is very very self conscious and has low self esteem.
5. Blue Streak has gone by several different super hero names in the past including Zoom Baby, Speed Demon, and Whizbang.
6. He mentored under Holy Roller quite a bit while learning to be a super hero.
7. He lives in the basement of his parents' home and insists on paying them rent. They would be totally fine with him living in his room and not paying rent, because he's in his early twenties. But he is determined to show responsibility.
8. Because he has speed-based powers, he also has a crazy high metabolism and has to eat about 80,000 calories a day otherwise he'd waste away. It's the reason a lot of people who don't know him well feel like he's obsessed with food. If he has to eat so much, he may as well enjoy it.

Is anyone out there interested in commissions?  I would like to know if there is any interest at all before I put together a page for prices.

Yeah I thought Tumblr was a stupid at first but I've found it is a great format for sharing sketches and quick things. Later gathering a bunch and doing uploads here for big uploads less often.

I actually wanted to know if any of you do something similar so I can watch you? My feed is at SavageLucy42.tumblr.com and I promise it will remain mostly art. I have other venues for advertising. (Although if I list something particularly cool on Etsy I may link to it. We'll see how it goes.)

I want to do more sketch work and I was wondering if anyone was interested in trading/commissioning ACEOs?

For those not in the know, ACEO stands for art cards editions and originals. They're 2.5 x 3.5 inch pieces of art.

I would be offering only real media cards. Sketches for $3 and marker drawings for $5.  Portrait/bust type drawings of characters. Fanart and original characters of yours are both welcome. Shipping free. And I could accept Paypal payments only.

If you want to trade, that would be fun to. I'll do your sketch, you do one for me and then we mail them to each other.

So you can either note me or comment on this journal of you want me to do one or two cards for you, and we can discuss the finer points of the deal.
